Transfer the filling into a zip lock pack and refrigerate this filling.
Take out the dough from the refrigerator and divide it into 8 equal balls.
Start shaping the diyas using both your hands.
Once all the diyas are shaped keep them on a parchment sheet (non-stick paper) and keep them back in the refrigerator for about 10-15 mins to set.
Step 3: Make Chocolate Flame
In a microwave-safe bowl take some white chocolate chips and heat it for 20 sec take it out and give a stir and repeat till the chocolate is completely melted.
Add food colour and mix it.
Transfer melted chocolate in a zip pouch and cut one of its corners and start pouring out drops on a parchment sheet.
Use a spoon to shape the flames as shown in the pictures.
Refrigerate it for 10 mins.
Step 4: Plate it!
Bring out the ready diyas and cheese filling from Refrigerator.
Plate them on the serving trays.
Cut the corner of the zip pouch and fill diya with the cheese filling.
Keep these ready diyas in the fridge. Add a chocolate flame on each of it to complete the look just before serving.
- If the kids are making these on their own, there must be an adult to supervise while they use the mixer and microwave.
- When these diyas are ready with the filling inside, let it rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour. This will let the filling set well and diyas won’t be wobbly.
